There was a progression going, of understanding. wisdom in Wicca, and now I feel like I've halted.There is only so much I can read online. I can't start my Year and a Day until after Feb. 2. Why? The advice given was... "during winter months between Dec 25(ish) - Feb 2..." something something there's not very much magick in the world because everything is in a death state. BASICALLY: they don't recommend diving in when the water is shallow. You'll hit your head on the bottom and wish you hadn't.
I should light a yellow candle when studying for help with memory. I'm actually thinking of lighting a white candle in a bit and praying to The Goddess. But Wait! There's more! ... Studying that is. I have a lot more to read about candle magick before I attempt it. I've basically only learned what the candle colors represent.. Do Not Pass Go, Do Not Collect $200. Monopoly humor.
This morning while driving, I felt the power of the warmth of Sol and prayed to the Great Horned One. I hadn't specifically targeted him yet, and the moment felt right. I introduced myself with the understanding that he didn't need an introduction - I did it anyway. I was jabbering on and on, thanking Him for my child, asking that He look out for her while shes away, thanking him for the womderful, wonderful man in my life. I hate to admit, I got teary eyed and Sol only got warmer. I feel we are at a good place.
Wow. This post got off track. It was supposed to be about learning what my next step is.
